If you would like to add an embroidered decoration with a bit of a twist, why not try stitching 'off the edge'. By using water soluble fabric it is possible to create an embroidered motif that extends beyond the raw edge of a piece cloth. You can then repeat the motif as many times as you want to give items such as scarves, table runners, blinds, pillowcases and garments, a truly unique look. Have fun!
